Your Experience Monologues

Your Experience Monologues

“The difference between ordinary and extra-ordinary is so often just simply that little word - extra. And for me, I had always grown up with the belief that if someone succeeds it is because they are brilliant or talented or just better than me… and the more of these words I heard the smaller I always felt! But the truth is often very different… and for me to learn that ordinary me can achieve something extra-ordinary by giving that little bit extra, when everyone else gives up, meant the world to me and I really clung to it…”- Bear Grylls

I believe every experience, travel or adventure provides a memorable moment but sometimes we just need to make the most of it and see the moment ‘through a child’s eyes’. I can think of so many trips where it could’ve turned out for the worst but those moments became extraordinary for me.

Making the best out of the situations became memories that I will always look back and treasure!

Along my travels, ‘close to home’ trips and online socialising, I’ve met so many interesting people with their own amazing stories! This ‘Encounters’ section is my tribute to their adventure awesomeness! Hopefully sharing these travel monologues with you will add a little laughter in your daily life and perhaps some inspiration to turn your ordinary into extra-ordinary. I’m not saying go venture off and do something silly but realise your dreams and don’t be afraid to follow them!

If you have a story to share please mail me your story to Pam@littlemmi.com accompanied by max. 5 photos and perhaps it will be published in Encounters.
